Getting its inspiration from a 1920's medical timepiece, this Heritage chronograph is a combination of Longines' original aesthetics of its historic models with its modern watchmaking techniques and innovations. Features a 40 mm polished stainless steel case that holds an immaculate white lacquered dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal bordered by a polished fixed bezel, blued Breguet-style hands and black painted Arabic numerals as hour markers. Staying true to its vintage appeal, the highly legible typeface evokes an old-world charm. Two subdials located at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions display 30-minute and 60-second counters respectively while the date display is at the 6 o'clock position. Adding to the black contrast are the dial texts, inner chapter ring, date and date window border, while the chapter ring hour markers and outer pulsometer scale, used by medical professionals to determine a patient's heart rate, are in red. A monopusher integrated into the crown at 3 o'clock starts, stops and resets the chronograph hand in that particular order. Comes fitted with a brown leather strap secured by a stainless steel signed buckle. This watch has an exhibition caseback showcasing the caliber L788.2, a 27-jewel Swiss column wheel chronograph movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is water-resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.
